The Javelin by WMD is a powerful and deeply customizable ADSR envelope generator with an integrated VCA, combining performance-ready features with flexible modulation control — all in just 6HP. Whether you’re sculpting percussive transients or creating evolving textures, Javelin offers exceptional responsiveness and tonal precision.

With three selectable time ranges, three output level ranges, and three accent ranges, Javelin is one of the most adjustable ADSR modules available. It can be fine-tuned to match the exact dynamic expectations of any destination — from VCFs and VCAs to pitch envelopes or effects modulation.

Javelin also includes unique tools for expressive performance:

• A punchy “Hold” stage at the top of the attack phase, ideal for adding transient impact.

• An Accent input that increases envelope intensity with each successive gate, emulating the feel of repeated strikes — perfect for adding emotional buildup and rhythmic drive.

• A Reset input for interrupting and restarting the envelope — excellent for unconventional rhythmic phrasing and modulation tricks.

You can switch between triggered and gated behavior, choose from linear or exponential curves, and even activate loop mode to turn Javelin into a complex, tempo-synced LFO.

The integrated VCA means fewer modules and cables, and tighter signal control. For live performance or compact systems, this makes Javelin both expressive and efficient.
