This course will run on Monday Evening from 6-8pm throughout October 2026.

After week 1 students are invited for 30 minutes of free play before the start of the session. 

Whether you are completely new to synthesis or a curious hobbyist looking to deepen your understanding, this course will give you the knowledge and confidence to approach any modular system and begin making music with intention, clarity and creativity.

Discover the foundations of synthesis and learn to create your own sounds from the ground up in this hands-on beginners course at Schneiders Keller. The only space in London where you can explore modular hardware in person and learn directly from industry professionals.

This course will run on Monday Evening from 6-8pm throughout October 2026.

1st Session - 11th January - 6pm

2nd Session - 18th January - 5:30pm (30mins free play)

3rd Session - 25th January - 5:30pm (30mins free play)

4th Session - 1st February - 5:30pm (30mins free play)

Total tutor time is 8 hours with 1.5 hours of free play time.
