Stereo Master Bus Processor with Multiband Dynamics and Isolator EQ

The WMD Bus Rider combines a three-band isolator EQ, multiband compression, saturation, and a lookahead limiter into a final output processor for Eurorack systems.

Designed to sit at the end of your signal chain, this module polishes master mixes and shapes frequency balance before sending audio to a PA, interface, or recording rig. Incoming stereo signals pass through adjustable crossover networks into per-band compressors, follow through a DJ-style isolator EQ, and recombine into a brickwall limiter.

In performance, the module functions as both a mix-bus glue tool and a hands-on performance effect. The isolator EQ provides full frequency kills (+12 dB boost to complete silence) per band, while a dedicated LOW CUT CV input lets external sequencers or envelope generators trigger bass drops automatically. Saturation applied exclusively to the mid and high bands adds warmth without muddying the low end, and the switchable LOW MONO mode ensures clean low-end translation on club sound systems.

Because the lookahead limiter relies on a 1.5 ms internal buffer to catch fast transients cleanly, the module introduces a fixed 1.5 ms processing delay. While unnoticeable in most setups, this latency should be considered when mixing dry hardware signals alongside the processed output.
