The Whimsical Raps Mannequins Silhouette is an interconnected analog signal combiner, multi-channel mixer, dynamic scanner, and time-domain processor for the Eurorack format. It organises audio and control voltages into a fluid "foreground and background" spatial paradigm.

Silhouette acts as an advanced mixing hub that unifies signal routing, ducking/bus compression, BBD delay, and reverberant time-smearing. The architecture splits incoming signals across two distinct planes to establish a highly interactive structural relationship between sounds.

The foreground matrix is driven by the SPOT control system, which dynamically scans and illuminates signals arriving across a ring of 6 inputs. This section splits into LIGHT and SHADOW paths, with the latter routed through a dynamically filtered bucket-brigade device (BBD) delay line to create dimensional separation. The background matrix manages an independent stereo pair (LEFT and RIGHT) that peers through a dynamic LENS. The LENS functions as a multi-mode VCA system capable of standard amplification, transient expansion, or side-chain compression driven directly by the foreground SPOTlit signal. To bridge these planes, the BLUR control smears the background audio over time, transforming standard context signals into rich, dense ambient trails and sweeping acoustic string simulations.
