Vermona MEX3 – MIDI Expander for meloDICER

Vermona's MEX3 is a compact MIDI expander for the meloDICER sequencer, designed to push its generative melodies beyond the Eurorack world into full MIDI polyphony. With the MEX3, you can connect your meloDICER directly to external synthesizers, drum machines, or software instruments, bringing modular spontaneity to your studio or live MIDI setup.

This 4HP module adds polyphonic MIDI output with up to three-part polyphony, making it ideal for sending rich harmonic patterns to your external gear. It also supports MIDI Clock sync, including shuffled clock sources like E-RM's Multiclock, and recognizes MIDI Real-Time messages such as START, STOP, and CONTINUE.

The MEX3 is fully integrated with the meloDICER, allowing MIDI CC control both ways: send CC messages from the meloDICER's knobs and sliders, or control them externally via MIDI. It connects directly to the meloDICER with the included cable and does not require a separate power source.

A firmware update (available from Vermona’s website) is required to enable all MEX3 features.
