Verbos Electronics Voltage Multistage 16

An evolution of one of the first Verbos modules, the Voltage Multistage 16 takes the original analog sequencer concept and pushes it into powerful new territory. No longer based on a CMOS counter, this version is built entirely around discrete transistor logic, opening up stage-select gate inputs and much more flexible interaction with the sequencer core.

At its heart, the Voltage Multistage 16 is a dual-row, 16-stage analog sequencer that can function as a modulation generator, LFO, voltage quantizer, or complex envelope. Features like switchable slide and sustain per step, strobe and enable inputs, and external stage gate control make it possible to create both grid-synced patterns and entirely free-flowing sequences based on fluctuating control voltages.

Gate outputs, reference ramps, and slides are now intelligently triggered only when a new stage is selected, allowing for smoother operation and improved musical response. All outputs are now equipped with LEDs for better visibility in performance contexts. Patch stage gate outs into strobe, enable, or sustain inputs to create deeply interactive, evolving sequences.

With a width of 42HP but a very shallow profile, the Voltage Multistage 16 fits easily into compact cases like the Verbos Black Box, making it an ideal tool for live performance.
