Verbos Electronics Scan & Pan

The Verbos Scan & Pan is not just another four-channel mixer—this is a uniquely expressive stereo mixing tool designed with the characterful edge that defines Verbos Electronics. Built with discrete transistor circuitry, it offers dynamic CV control over level, panning, and scanning between channels, giving you the tools to create detailed stereo movement and morphing audio layers.

Each of the four channels features a mono input, manual level fader, and CV control for both volume and pan position. The true magic lies in the module’s voltage-controlled scanning section—a function also found in the Harmonic Oscillator. This allows you to dynamically blend between channels using the Center and Width controls. Select a primary channel, then smoothly fade in adjacent inputs with CV or modulation, creating immersive stereo soundscapes or evolving textures.

Use the Scan & Pan to blend waveforms from a single oscillator, layer complex sound sources, or create stereo scenes that shift and evolve. If you assign different pan positions to each channel, the scanning function takes on an entirely new level of spatial depth—perfect for live performance or studio sound design.
