Verbos Electronics Noise & Filter

The Noise + Filter from Verbos Electronics is a compact yet powerful sound-shaping tool that combines a high-quality white noise source with a fixed four-band filter bank derived from the legendary Bark Filter.

Occupying just 4HP, this module is deceptively simple. At its core is a white noise generator, normalized to the filter input—meaning that without patching anything in, you immediately have access to white noise plus four bandpassed outputs, making it an excellent source for percussion, textured sound beds, or modulation.

Feed an external audio signal into the input, and the module becomes a versatile four-band fixed filter. Your input is split into the following frequency bands at the individual outputs:

• >4.4 kHz

• 1.7 kHz – 4.4 kHz

• 630 Hz – 1.7 kHz

• <630 Hz

Whether you're creating noise-based drum sounds, filtering external sources, or carving frequency bands for further modulation, Noise + Filter offers Verbos-level sonic quality in a bite-sized format.
