The Dual Four Pole from Verbos Electronics is a powerful pair of 24dB analog filters that harken back to the earliest days of electronic music. Inspired by Buchla’s iconic 100-series circuitry, this module forgoes modern IC op-amps in favor of a fully discrete transistor-based design—delivering a raw, vintage character perfect for sculpting intense and expressive tones.

On the left, you’ll find a four-pole high-pass filter, and on the right, a four-pole low-pass filter. Both offer identical features aside from filter type:

• Classic -24dB/oct slope

• Large, precise cutoff knob

• Two CV inputs for cutoff, each with a bipolar attenuator

Though they don’t self-oscillate, these filters excel in character: they growl, howl, and saturate with unmistakable analog bite.
