Verbos Electronics Control Voltage Processor

The Control Voltage Processor from Verbos Electronics is a compact yet powerful utility module for sculpting, combining, and animating CV and audio signals. With its slew generator/envelope section and two flexible CV/audio mixers, it forms a central processing unit for any modular system—designed the Verbos way, with a touch of Buchla heritage and a flair for unique sonic behavior.

At the top is a voltage-controlled slew limiter, which doubles as an attack-decay envelope. With independent controls for rise ("Positive") and fall ("Negative") times, it allows highly flexible envelope shaping. The slope curvature remains adjustable regardless of time, enabling everything from snappy plucks to ultra-smooth modulations.

Then there's Bounce—a unique feature that causes the envelope to overshoot its target, then decay back into position with a gentle spring-like quality. This “rubber-band” feel is fantastic for expressive modulations, mimicking the tactile inertia of real-world movements.

The lower half of the module houses two identical 4-channel mixers:

• Inputs 1 & 2 act as manual attenuators.

• Inputs 3 & 4 form a CV-controllable crossfader, allowing wave morphing, VCAs, or even ring modulation-style functions.

• Each mixer includes an Offset control for biasing the summed signal positive or negative.
