Verbos Electronics Complex Oscillator

The Complex Oscillator by Verbos Electronics is a dual-oscillator module inspired by classic West Coast synthesis, offering deep timbral shaping and internal modulation for rich, animated tones.

At its core are two triangle-core analog VCOs: a carrier oscillator (the main voice) and a modulation oscillator. The modulation oscillator provides triangle, square, and sawtooth waveforms and can modulate the main oscillator's frequency (FM) or amplitude (AM) internally. This modulation is selectable via switch, with a voltage-controllable modulation index for dynamic control over intensity. Both oscillators support linear FM, and the discrete exponential converter adds a subtle, musical instability reminiscent of vintage analog gear.

The main oscillator features triangle, square, and sine wave outputs, plus a master output that passes through Verbos' signature harmonics section:

• Timbre (Wave Multiplier): Adds wavefolding to enrich harmonic content

• Harmonics: Blends low to high-order harmonics

• Symmetry: Morphs between odd and even harmonics

All three harmonic parameters feature CV inputs with bipolar attenuators, making the module perfect for evolving textures, percussive hits, and complex drones.
