The EP-136 K.O. Sidekick provides mixing and hardware processing for two independent audio channels. Each stereo input features a dedicated compressor and three selectable EQ profiles. For real-time signal processing, the unit features an integrated pressure-sensitive FX pad alongside a Tap FX Sequencer™ to apply and manipulate six built-in performance effects.

The device includes dual-channel beat-matching functionality and supports multi-unit chaining to expand the total input count. It operates via USB-C bus power or two AAA batteries. When connected to a host device, the unit functions as an 8-input, 4-output USB audio interface and a assignable MIDI controller. Parameter values and system status are displayed on a high-resolution, custom color LCD screen.
