Portable sampler, sequencer, and composer with vintage pad workflow.
The EP-133 K.O. II combines intuitive sampling, velocity-sensitive performance pads, and hands-on sequencing into a battery-powered workstation designed for fast beatmaking anywhere.
The EP-133 K.O. II builds on pocket-sized sampling roots, evolving into a standalone groovebox that captures audio directly through a built-in microphone or stereo line input. It treats raw sound from records, synths, or phone voice memos as immediate building blocks, letting you slice and map audio across twelve dynamic pads.
Unlike rigid desktop samplers, this unit blends retro MPC ergonomics with modern hands-on modulation. A customizable multi-fader automates parameters on the fly, while pressure-sensitive pads trigger punch-in effects and polyphonic aftertouch. The custom segment display keeps navigation focused on performance rather than deep menu diving.
During live creation, the Instant Commit workflow lets you drop patterns into place without stopping playback. You can switch between freeform recording, tight swing quantization, and OB-4 inspired loop slicing while building multi-track arrangements across four dedicated group banks.
The unit acts as a flexible control center in a broader setup. TRS MIDI and analog sync connectors allow you to clock modular rigs, sequence external hardware, or feed audio straight into your DAW through USB-C.
