Supercritical Demon Core Oscillator

The Demon Core Oscillator from Supercritical Synthesizers is a powerful 16-voice DCO designed to bring the lush character of vintage polysynths into your Eurorack system. Inspired by classic keyboard synthesizers from the 1980s, this module offers dense, stackable saw and pulse waves that can be precisely tuned or allowed to drift for added warmth and complexity.

At the heart of the Demon Core is a digitally controlled analog oscillator bank capable of generating up to 16 simultaneous voices. Voices can be stacked in unison, spread across octaves, or tightly detuned for immense supersaw-style textures. The Core Stability feature introduces pitch jitter and drift—emulating analog imperfections for a truly vintage sound. CV control over spread, PWM, and stability allows for expressive modulation possibilities.

Use the Trigger input to phase-reset all voices, perfect for tight, punchy sounds or synced unison effects. Add the Demon Core Expander (sold separately) to unlock full MIDI polyphonic control, making the Demon Core a serious option for melodic composition and MIDI sequencing.
