Supercritical Demon Core Expander

The Demon Core Expander unlocks the full polyphonic power of the Demon Core Oscillator, transforming it into a MIDI-controllable, 16-voice modular synth engine. Whether you’re building complex chord structures or assigning four independent CV pitch inputs, the Expander opens a world of musical expression.

With direct integration via ribbon cable, the Expander powers from the main module and adds MIDI input, MIDI thru, and four pitch CV inputs with global attenuation. You can divide the 16 voices between these four inputs or control them all over MIDI using MPE or classic polyphonic modes. Choose between continuous streaming or MIDI-gated playback, complete with an internal ADSR envelope per voice for dynamic shaping without additional modules.

Additional features include gate outputs, retriggerable envelopes, and timing controls for precise phase sync on every voice. Setup is intuitive, with channel learning, pitch bend range options, and MIDI polarity jumpers on the back panel.
