Polyvera captures the charming imperfections of early digital synthesis without forcing you to deal with fragile 40-year-old hardware. Each of its six voices features two digital oscillators capable of loaded wavetables or user samples, modeled after the aliasing, jitter, and sizzle of early digital hardware. Instead of smoothing out those digital rough edges, the architecture routes them directly through a flexible analog multimode filter. The contrast between gritty, variable-bitrate digital sources and warm analog filtering gives the synth a punchy, upfront sonic identity.

In operation, the front panel layout favors fast, physical sound creation over menu navigation. Hands-on controls offer instant access to oscillator models, dual serial effects, and an 8-slot modulation matrix. Routing filter FM from the second oscillator creates aggressive, chaotic textures, while the binaural voice mode splits voice pairs across the stereo field for wide ambient soundscapes. You can sample directly through the stereo inputs to instantly map incoming audio across the keys with vintage playback artifacts.
