The Solid State Logic (SSL) BiG SiX combines large-format analog console architecture with an integrated 16x16 USB audio interface in a compact studio workspace. Engineered for hybrid mixing, multitrack recording, and stem summing, it packs SuperAnalogue preamps, channel dynamics, flexible routing, and SSL’s iconic G-Series Bus Compressor into a desktop footprint.

The BiG SiX expands upon SSL's SiX desktop layout, doubling channel capacity while adding high-resolution digital integration for modern DAW workflows. It houses four mono channels featuring high-headroom SSL SuperAnalogue mic/line/Hi-Z preamps, individual +48V phantom power, high-pass filters, polarity switches, single-knob channel compressors, and 3-band EQs derived from classic SSL console topologies. In addition, four stereo line-level channels offer dual-mono input switching alongside dedicated SSL 3-band channel equalizers.

At the core of the master section is the legendary SSL G-Series Bus Compressor, featuring the THAT bus compressor architecture complete with auto-release functionality to add essential cohesive "glue" to final mixes. A built-in 16-in/16-out USB-C audio interface enables multitrack recording directly into your digital audio workstation and facilitates analogue hardware summing. The control surface features 100mm smooth-throw faders, pre/post-fader routing toggles, dual independent headphone outputs, and comprehensive studio monitor switching.
