Night Rider by RYK is a quad band sequential resonator with six different filter modes, onboard saturation, and an integrated modulation sequencer with morphing and slew. From vocal-style effects to delay, phaser, and Karplus-Strong-style physical modelling, Night Rider brings a unique and performative take on resonator processing to Eurorack.

Each of the four filter bands features control over frequency, level, and pan, all clearly visualised via LED rings. A dedicated sequencer lets you morph between up to six stages of settings, with position controlled manually, via CV, or external clock. Morph time (SLEW) is also CV-controllable, enabling smooth transitions or sharp jumps between modulation stages.

Night Rider supports MIDI over the clock input, allowing external control over key parameters from a DAW or MIDI controller. 13 built-in formant and chord presets are also included.

The module offers six different filter processing types, each of which changes how the four bands behave. These include traditional parallel bandpass filtering, phasing, and delay-like resonator modes. The result is an incredibly wide sonic range — from woodblock percussion and robotic voices to stereo movement, sweeping filters, and resonant string-like effects.
