RYK Modular Envy Machine Quad Modulation Source

The RYK Envy Machine is a compact yet incredibly powerful quad-channel modulation source that redefines flexibility in Eurorack systems. Combining envelopes, LFOs, random voltages, and even knob-recorded modulation, this unit delivers expressive control for any patch.

Each of the four channels can independently operate in one of five modes:

• ADSR Envelope

• AD Envelope

• AD Looping LFO

• Random Voltage

• Knob-Recorded Voltage Control

This makes the Envy Machine equally suited to creating dynamic modulations, animated LFOs, generative randomness, or manually performed control curves.

Waveshapes are continuously variable between logarithmic, exponential, sine, trapezoid, and square forms. Control voltages can be either unipolar (0–8V) or bipolar (-5V to +5V), with bipolar attenuverters on each output for precise shaping of modulation depth and polarity.

One standout feature is knob recording, allowing users to draw in complex modulations in real-time. You can even modulate the modulators: each channel features CV inputs to control parameters like time, level, and waveshape—perfect for generative or evolving patches.

Whether you're crafting subtle movement or wildly shifting patterns, the Envy Machine is a versatile modulation workhorse that integrates easily into any rack, while offering modulation times from milliseconds to several minutes.
