Stormnest tackles the main friction point of travel rigs: the trade-off between weight and reliability. By utilizing a slim 2x66 HP aluminum chassis, it provides enough space for a focused performance system without the bulk of a traditional flight case. The revised 33mm internal depth accommodates most modern SMD modules while keeping the profile thin enough to disappear into a backpack.

In a live environment, the case transforms into a workstation. It features VESA mounting points on the underside, allowing you to secure the system to a monitor arm or camera tripod for better ergonomic placement on stage. An onboard 5V USB port eliminates the need for external power bricks when running a small MIDI controller or sequencer. The system includes an adjustable stand and a padded transport bag, making it a self-contained solution for mobile synthesis.

The internal bus board offers 20 headers, ensuring you won't run out of power slots before you run out of HP. While the shallow depth requires a bit of planning with vintage "skiff-unfriendly" modules, it rewards the user with a setup that weighs just over 1kg.
