A complete Eurorack synth voice with depth, grit, and hands-on control

SED-CSM is a compact but powerful analog synthesizer voice that brings a full signal path and extensive modulation into a single Eurorack module.

The core consists of two VCOs, a 24 dB low pass filter, and a wavefolder. VCO 1 includes an adjustable sub-octave generator for added weight and solid bass foundations. VCO 2 feeds a wavefolder that focuses on its triangle wave, opening up sharper harmonics and more complex textures. A noise source and a ring modulator join the wavefolder output in a built-in mixer, letting you blend raw tones, metallic sidebands, and noise before they hit the filter.

The filter delivers a steep low pass response with a musical character and an integrated overdrive stage. It moves easily from smooth shaping to more aggressive saturation, making it suitable for basses, leads, and animated textures. An external audio input allows you to process other modules or full patches through the filter and modulation section.

Modulation plays a central role. Two loopable ADSR envelopes support both classic shaping and cycling modulation duties. Two LFOs provide additional movement, with one capable of running at audio rate and acting as a third oscillator. Glide adds expressive pitch transitions with five selectable levels, useful for both subtle phrasing and more pronounced slides.

SED-CSM follows a semi-modular layout, but offers a wide range of patch points. You can work quickly without cables or dive deeper and reroute modulation and audio freely. Despite its size, it behaves more like a small modular system than a fixed voice, making it well suited for live performance and compact cases where flexibility matters.
