SED is a characterful analog filter that combines a discrete VCF, a clean VCA, and a three channel mixer in one compact module.

At its core sits a smooth, musical filter that switches between low pass and high pass via a rear jumper. It delivers a steep 24 dB response with a creamy tone that stays composed at higher resonance settings. An overdrive control lets you tighten and push incoming signals before the filter, adding density without turning harsh. A dedicated resonance boost gives you extra bite when you want the filter to speak up.

Three audio inputs with individual gain controls turn SED into a flexible mixer before the filter stage. You can blend oscillators, layers, or external sources, then shape the combined signal with the filter and VCA. The integrated VCA keeps patching simple and encourages dynamic control inside a single module.

SED invites modulation. Four CV inputs address different aspects of the filter, while two CV inputs control the VCA. You can animate timbre with slow movement, drive rhythmic patterns with sequences, or open the VCA while sweeping the cutoff from another lane. It fits easily into performance focused systems where hands-on control and musical response matter more than menu depth.

This is not a surgical utility filter. SED favors tone, interaction, and a slightly opinionated sound that rewards active use.
