Rides in the Storm-NGM

NGM is a small mixer built around passive summing with active output amplification. It offers two mixer channels, each with five inputs, designed for quickly combining signals while keeping noise low.

Use it to merge multiple modulation sources into more complex shapes, or to gather drum voices and audio signals into a simple submix. The passive input stage keeps behaviour predictable, while the active output gain restores usable levels after summing.

In practice, NGM encourages fast decisions. Patch several sources, balance them by ear, and move on. It works well for CV and audio, especially in systems where space is limited and a full featured mixer would feel excessive.

NGM now also allows all ten inputs to route to output A. This makes it easy to collapse a larger patch into a single output when needed. The design stays focused on utility, solid construction, and low noise rather than added features.
