Rides in the Storm - MUL

MUL is a compact utility that handles level scaling and offsetting in one place. It works as an attenuator or attenuverter, with a built in offset generator that expands how you shape control voltages and audio.

The 30 mm fader offers direct, tactile control. In attenuator mode it follows an exponential response, which suits natural feeling level control. In attenuverter mode it uses an S curve, giving finer resolution around the centre position for precise bipolar modulation.

The offset generator adds or subtracts up to plus or minus 10 V. A rear jumper places the offset before or after the fader, so you can decide whether to scale the offset itself or apply it after level control. This makes it easy to build custom modulation ranges or shift signals into a usable window.

In use, MUL helps tame hot signals, center modulation, or create movement where none existed before. Its small size makes it easy to place wherever signal conditioning is needed, without reworking the rest of the system.
