Rides in the Storm-IPT

IPT is a compact utility module that combines two essential patching tools: signal inversion and precision addition. It focuses on clear behaviour and efficient use of space, making it easy to integrate into any system.

The top section provides a dual inverter for CV and audio. It flips signal polarity, which works well for creating mirrored modulation, reversing envelopes, or deriving contrasting movement from a single source. Channel A normalizes to channel B, so one input can drive both inverters without extra patching.

The lower section is a two input precision adder with unity gain. It sums signals cleanly and predictably, which makes it useful for combining modulation sources or mixing audio without unexpected level changes.

In use, IPT supports fast, practical patching. It solves common routing problems with minimal setup and no hidden behaviour. The slim format keeps these functions close at hand, even in space constrained systems.

IPT fits naturally alongside modulation sources, VCAs, and mixers. It does not add character or colour. Instead, it provides reliable signal control where accuracy matters.
