The OXI ONE MKII takes the core idea of the original and pushes it into serious centerpiece territory. You now get eight fully independent sequencers in a compact desktop format, each clearly accessible via dedicated numeric buttons and a larger OLED screen that keeps complex sessions readable.

This is not just more tracks. It is more structure, more modulation, and more ways to move a pattern in real time. Each sequencer carries its own modulation lane and two LFOs, so you can animate filters, wavetable position, CV destinations or MIDI CC without sacrificing note data. With up to 64 tracks available, you can run drums, bass, poly synths, modular voices and external gear from a single box while keeping everything logically separated.

Performance is where the MKII clearly steps forward. The new Performance Mode, along with the Accumulator, Groove and Repeat engines, gives you controlled instability. You can push sequences forward, create evolving variation, inject rhythmic shifts, and then pull everything back into place. FLOW adds another performance layer designed for live manipulation, letting you reshape patterns without stopping the music.

For composition, the expanded harmonic and generative tools go deep without getting in the way. Chord Tools and Custom Scales help you sketch harmonically rich material quickly. The Extended Generative Tools and enhanced logic conditions support algorithmic exploration while still keeping you in charge. The improved Arranger Mode lets you structure full tracks directly on the device, making it realistic to build complete pieces away from the DAW.

Project handling also feels grown up. You can store multiple complete setups internally, and the SD card slot removes practical limits. Custom grooves, scales and full projects travel with you. Add expanded MIDI connectivity and CV inputs, and the MKII comfortably bridges modular systems, desktop synths and full studio rigs.

The workflow stays grid-based and immediate. The new buttons reduce menu diving and speed up access to key functions. If you already liked the original, this version feels faster and more deliberate. If you need one sequencer to anchor a hybrid setup, this one earns the role.
