A compact 16 encoder MIDI controller with morphing, macro control and motion recording built in.

The E16 takes OXI’s sequencing mindset and applies it to hands on control. Housed in a slim aluminum chassis, it gives you sixteen endless encoders with color coded LED rings for clear, immediate feedback. You always see where a parameter sits, even when switching pages or scenes.

At its core, this is a flexible MIDI controller. In practice, it feels closer to a performance instrument. Snapshot morphing lets you store two full parameter states on a page and sweep between them with a single encoder. It is smooth, predictable, and musical. You can shift an entire mix, reshape a synth patch, or move from subtle to extreme in one gesture.

The grouping function keeps things practical. Assign several parameters to one master knob and build your own macros. Open filters while increasing reverb send, tighten envelopes while boosting drive, or move multiple CV destinations at once. It works quickly and encourages deliberate performance moves instead of menu work.

Knob recording adds motion without extra gear. Capture encoder movements and loop them as modulation, each with its own timing. This turns static control into evolving automation. In a hardware setup, it reduces reliance on a DAW. In a hybrid rig, it gives you another layer of hands on modulation.

Seven scenes with twelve pages each provide deep mapping capacity. You can dedicate pages to different synths, modular voices, effects chains or live sets. Switching stays fast and the LED rings keep you oriented.

Connectivity matches the ambition. With multiple TRS MIDI ports, wireless MIDI and several virtual USB ports, the E16 integrates easily into desktop, modular and mobile setups. It stays small on the desk but reaches across a large system.
