Power your gear your way - from USB-C.

The myVolts Step-Up Power Tips are part of a smart new system that lets you power a wide range of devices — from effects pedals to synths to laptops — directly from USB-C. Designed to pair with high-power USB-C power sources and Step-Up cables, these compact tips convert 5V USB input to higher DC voltages with the correct tip size and polarity.

Each Step-Up Power Tip features a spring-loaded 2.1mm/2.5mm x 5.5mm barrel connector, fits snugly on a USB-C cable, and uses PD3.0 and QC3.0 protocols to ensure your gear gets the power it needs. Whether you're running a 9V guitar pedalboard, a 12V Elektron machine, a 15V modular synth, or a 19–20V groovebox or laptop, there's a tip for you.

These tips provide maximum flexibility, portability, and convenience — ideal for musicians, DJs, and gearheads on the move.

Available variants:

  • PDT09N1 — 9V DC, centre negative (27W max) – standard effects pedals

  • PDT12P1 — 12V DC, centre positive (36W max) – Elektron Digitakt, Analog 4, and more

  • PDT15P1 — 15V DC, centre positive (45W max) – Eurorack modular gear, Make Noise

  • PDT19P1 — 19V DC, centre positive (65W max) – Akai MPC Live, laptops

  • PDT20P1 — 20V DC, centre positive (65W max) – high-power devices

💡 Note: To use Step-Up Power Tips, you’ll need a USB-C power source that supports Power Delivery (PD) or Quick Charge (QC) protocols, such as the myVolts USB-C cables or Step-Up battery banks.
