Meng Qi Wingie MkII

The Wingie Mk2 by Meng Qi is an intuitively playable handheld stereo resonator designed to enrich vocals, instruments, or your surrounding environment with shimmering harmonic textures. With built-in microphones, stereo I/O, and an improved interface, Wingie is equally at home in experimental live setups, field recording rigs, or as a desktop sound design tool.

Thanks to its dual onboard microphones, Wingie Mk2 can process ambient sounds or your voice in real time—transforming them into resonant drones, overtones, and shimmering timbres. External stereo line signals can also be processed through its resonator circuits.

Version 2 brings key improvements:

• A black aluminum enclosure

• Sleek, responsive faders replacing the original knobs

• Front panel switches for quicker interaction

• MIDI input (via included TRS to DIN adapter) for note control of resonant pitches
