The Manifold Research Centre Antilope is a standalone desktop percussion synthesizer, signal processor, and dynamics instrument. Operating at Eurorack-compatible voltage levels, it combines dual-pingable filters, high-gain saturation, a digital effects engine, and an unquantized pattern recorder into a tactile, performance-focused ecosystem. 

The sound architecture of the Antilope is rooted in the concept of excited, self-oscillating circuitry. It synthesizes percussion or processes external stereo audio by routing signals through four highly interactive blocks: a dual-pingable filter array, a doom-metal inspired overdrive circuit, a multi-algorithm digital effects processor, and a three-channel modulation and trigger recorder.

The instrument features a hybrid interface layout with front-panel Eurorack-standard 3.5 mm control voltage and audio connections, paired with a rear panel dedicated to line-level stereo connectivity, headphone monitoring, and master sync configurations. The unit runs entirely on portable USB-C bus power.
