Make Noise Strega

Make Noise Strega is a unique, semi-modular desktop synthesizer and effects processor developed in collaboration with Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails). Designed for experimental sound design and rich, droning textures, Strega thrives as both a standalone instrument and as part of a modular or semi-modular ecosystem.

Built in the same sturdy steel enclosure as the 0-Coast and 0-CTRL, and fully compatible with them, Strega invites creative integration with Eurorack systems. Its internal architecture includes sound-shaping tools like the Interference Generator, Time/Filter Experiment section, and Agitation generator—each capable of warping and destabilizing sound into something otherworldly.

Strega also excels at processing external signals. The input section features a preamp, envelope follower, and send level control, allowing you to bring in external audio and transform it into ambient textures or chaotic noise. The innovative “Touch Bridges” and “Gateways” on the panel introduce performative, fingertip-driven patching, allowing your hands to become part of the modulation system.

This is not just a synth—it’s an expressive, tactile tool for sonic storytelling. Whether you’re crafting eerie atmospheres, glitchy echoes, or warm analog-like layers, Strega offers a deep and intuitive canvas for experimentation.
