Make Noise QXG

The QXG is the stereo low pass gate at the heart of Make Noise’s New Universal Synthesizer System (NUSS) — delivering the warm, organic tones of classic West Coast LPGs without using vactrols. It’s a four-channel LPG that merges the roles of VCA, filter, mixer, and panner into a single, highly playable Eurorack module.

Each of the four mono input channels features a CV-controllable LPG circuit with a unique analog emulation of the vactrol response. A dedicated "vactrol" button lets you choose between long and natural decays or fast, snappy articulations, ideal for percussive sequences. All channels feed into a stereo summing section, where the Stereo Spread parameter (with CV control) positions voices across the stereo field for immersive spatial play.

The QXG also includes individual outputs for each channel and a stereo AUX input to daisy-chain more QXGs or other stereo sources. It's a clever mixer, dynamic panner, and LPG in one — perfect for sculpting evolving textures or tight rhythmic lines.

Optimized for stereo modular systems and designed to complement the Polimath voice modules, the QXG is Make Noise’s most flexible and mix-ready LPG to date.
