The Gestural Time Extractor reimagines how a modular system interacts with time. Rather than relying on a steady clock, this module analyzes the behavior of an incoming voltage at the Span input to derive up to eight individual channel pulses. It listens to the speed and position of your signal, generating a pulse stream that mirrors the physical motion of your modulation. Whether you feed it a slow-wandering LFO or a complex function, the GTE extracts the rhythmic DNA hidden within that movement.

Control over the internal channel distribution is managed by the Space knob. Adjusting this parameter changes how closely the channels sit together, allowing you to choose between broad, predictable transitions or high-sensitivity, twitchy rhythmic bursts. This makes the module equally capable of generating sparse structural changes or dense, glitchy triggers depending on the complexity of the source voltage.

For those working within the N.U.S.S. ecosystem, the GTE acts as a dedicated Channel Index Translator. It interprets indexed signals from modules like PoliMATHS to provide individual gate outputs for each active channel. When you need to lock these organic events to a grid, the Clock input holds back channel changes until an external pulse arrives, ensuring your gestural rhythms remain musically synchronized with the rest of your patch.
