Make Noise 0-CTRL

The Make Noise 0-CTRL is a fully analog, patchable touch controller and step sequencer designed to bring human interaction into your sequencing workflow. Ideal for use with Eurorack systems or semi-modular instruments like the 0-Coast and Strega, 0-CTRL blends classic touchplate control with flexible CV and gate sequencing.

At its core, 0-CTRL features 11 capacitive touchplates: three for controlling the clock and sequence direction, and eight for directly selecting or interacting with steps. Each step has three knobs that adjust pitch, gate strength, and duration—offering nuanced per-step modulation. These are normalled to the CV outputs and can be influenced externally via dedicated CV inputs for Time, Strength, Clock, and Direction.

Touch interaction generates gate and pressure CV outputs, allowing for expressive live performance and gesture-based control. The module also provides a dynamic envelope and gate output per step for shaping volume or timbre with external VCAs or LPGs. Each step also includes its own gate output, ideal for triggering per-step events or patch programming sequence logic.

Use the Direction and Interrupt functions to create complex, non-linear patterns, or simply play the sequencer with your fingers. Whether you're creating precise melodic patterns or chaotic textures, 0-CTRL offers a tactile, musical interface that expands your control possibilities.
