This utility module provides a dedicated stereo monitoring solution for Eurorack systems, capable of driving high-impedance studio headphones with low noise.

The Phones 1U is a straightforward but essential bridge between your modular environment and your ears. It is designed to handle the high signal levels typical of Eurorack while maintaining a clean, uncolored frequency response. While its primary purpose is personal monitoring during late-night sessions or live performances, the 1/4 inch TRS output is also electronically robust enough to serve as a high-quality stereo line output for connecting to external mixers or audio interfaces.

The input section features smart normaling; patching only the Left input distributes the signal to both sides of your headphones for dual-mono monitoring. On the rear panel, the module includes a 3-pin Link connector, allowing it to receive audio directly from other Intellijel modules like Mixup or Stereo Line Out 1U without using any front-panel patch cables. This makes it easy to set up a permanent "monitor out" that mirrors your main mix while keeping your patch cables tucked away.
