It centers on two main tracks that derive their pitch and timing from a master sequence but operate with independent playback logic. You define the core melodic movement using the iconic stage sliders and switches, then use the secondary tracks to create variations through unique clock divisions, sequence lengths, and play orders. This design allows for complex, interlocking patterns that maintain a cohesive musical relationship.

Live performance is the primary focus of the interface. Loopy mode turns the stage buttons into a tactile performance surface, letting you freeze or jump to specific steps on the fly. Beyond pitch and gates, eight internal modulation tracks provide dedicated lanes for animating parameters, while three assignable AUX inputs bridge the gap between your rack and the sequencer.
