The Instruō Arbhar redefined Eurorack granular synthesis when it first launched in 2019. Now, with the v2.0 firmware and USB expander module included as standard, Arbhar enters a new era of creative power and sonic possibility. More than a granular sampler, it's an instrument designed for detailed manipulation, polyphonic layering, and expressive performance.

Audio can be captured directly from line or modular sources — or through the built-in condenser microphone — and transformed into evolving textures, glitched-out chaos, or smooth frozen tones. Grain playback parameters can be modulated independently per grain, allowing for true polyphonic detail in your textures and sequences.

Version 2.0, aka the Lexer Method, is a complete rewrite of Arbhar's codebase — improving responsiveness, expanding capabilities, and unlocking new sonic terrain. Scan, Follow, and Wavetable modes give you multiple ways to explore your sample buffers. And now, with the front-panel 2HP USB expander, loading samples and saving full performance scenes is faster than ever.
