Takt by Flame is an 8-track rhythm sequencer like no other—blending classic step sequencing with looper-style live performance and modulation capabilities. With its extensive real-time control options, four included distance sensors, and MIDI + CV integration, Takt becomes a dynamic control hub for both Eurorack and MIDI gear.

Each of the 8 tracks offers a gate/trigger output and a corresponding CV lane for velocity or modulation, which can be recorded, altered, and looped in real time. Think of it not just as a beat sequencer, but as a performance instrument for your entire system.

Use the intuitive “shot mode” for freeform looping, trigger Euclidean rhythms, or craft classic step sequences via the “user sequence mode.” With up to 4 bars per pattern, per-track shuffle, polymeters, variation, mutes, and time quantization, you can easily create evolving, expressive patterns. Sequences can also be chained and switched on the fly using the scene system (50 scenes x 5 patterns = 250 total patterns), making Takt an ideal tool for live performance.

Control four tracks simultaneously with the included distance sensors, or hook up foot pedals via the two CV inputs for hands-free recording, pattern clearing, or scene switching—ideal for drummers or expressive live sets. MIDI and CV outputs work simultaneously, so Takt can drive your modular system and MIDI drum machines or synths at once.

To top it off, Takt includes four syncable analog LFOs with 26 waveforms, voltage scaling, amplitude control, and phase offset. These are perfect for modulation duties across your system.
