Flame Joystick Recorder

The Flame Joystick Recorder is a compact CV joystick controller with a built-in recording and looping function, ideal for expressive hands-on modulation in your Eurorack system.

Move the joystick freely to generate bipolar or unipolar CV outputs for X and Y axes, each with its own passive attenuator. You can record up to 1 minute of movement and loop it back with adjustable playback speed. Your performance is automatically saved in battery-backed RAM, so your gestures stay preserved even after powering off your system.

Use the Freeze function to hold the current position mid-performance or reset the loop via external trigger. A GATE/START input allows for synced recording or loop retriggering, perfect for aligning your joystick sequences with your patch’s clock or transport.

An extra gate output is triggered when the joystick moves outside the center zone—ideal for triggering modulation or toggling events. Plus, a unique "Sum CV" output delivers a summed positive CV from both X and Y axes for an additional modulation source.
