Fieldtone Weaver Eurorack Module

Fieldtone’s Weaver Modular brings the cult-favourite Weaver handheld sampler into Eurorack format, evolving the original into a deeper, CV-controllable creative instrument. First spotlighted by Andrew Huang as his “Favourite Desktop FX Module of 2024”, this modular version maintains the meditative, unpredictable soul of the original, while adding new functionality for advanced modular use.

At its core, Weaver is a sampler that embraces impermanence — there's no undo, no memory bank, just a two-second capture window and one enigmatic knob that sculpts the loop. Whether you're shaping glitchy textures, pitch-shifted ambience, or percussive rhythms, Weaver encourages playful forward motion. Each twist becomes a performance, a transformation — never the same loop twice.

New in the modular edition are individual level controls for three sonic elements within the loop, giving you more control over the stereo texture. It also includes three random gate outputs, making it an exceptional random rhythm generator, even when not sampling. Use CV or triggers to start sampling, or to automate the Weaver knob itself for generative modulation. A pitch mode toggle allows switching between random pitch and root-aligned quantisation, great for musical looping or tonal chaos.

Designed to work equally well with acoustic sounds (like guitar or voice) and electronic sources, the built-in microphone, external sync, and stereo output make it an expressive, experimental, and tactile addition to any rack.
