Eowave Tempête Magnétique – Quad Multimode Filter with Creative Routing

The Tempête Magnétique is a powerful and highly flexible quad multimode filter designed for deep sound shaping and dynamic modulation. With four independent filters (A, B, C, D) that can be configured in serial or parallel routing, this module offers rich stereo filtering, cross-modulation, and complex feedback paths — making it a creative playground for advanced patching.

Each filter supports high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass modes at -12 dB/oct, with the option to combine them for steeper slopes up to -48 dB/oct. Groupings (X and Y) allow stereo-style processing, while a central cross-modulation fader creates fluid, reactive movement between filter pairs.

At lower input levels, the sound is clean and musical — but push it harder, and Tempête Magnétique responds with warm saturation and asymmetrical distortion. It also features a dedicated ping input, enabling clean and precise filter pings for percussive textures.

The onboard envelope follower tracks the input signal and can act as a velocity-sensitive decay envelope. Combine this with self-oscillation, feedback routing, and quadraphonic compatibility, and you have a module capable of everything from precision sculpting to chaotic, expressive tones.
