16-Track Digital Sampler & Stereo Sequencer

The Elektron Digitakt II is an upgraded 16-track digital stereo sampler and MIDI performance sequencer designed for rhythm creation, sound design, and live performance. Building upon its iconic predecessor, it doubles the track count while introducing stereo audio sampling, advanced algorithmic sequencing tools, expanded modulation options, and deeper sound-shaping engines.

The Digitakt II expands Elektron’s signature workflow by offering 16 dynamic tracks that can be assigned individually to either stereo/mono internal sample engines or external MIDI control. The instrument features five distinct SRC (audio) playback machines and five selectable FLTR (filter) machines; including Multi-Mode, Lowpass 4, Equalizer, Comb, and Legacy LP/HP options. Rhythmic composition is powered by an upgraded 128-step sequencer featuring parameter locks, micro-timing, four Trig modes, a 36-scale keyboard mode, and an integrated Euclidean pattern generator for creating complex, evolving polyrhythms.

Each audio track includes per-track overdrive, bit reduction, and three fully assignable LFOs. For master and spatial processing, the unit features built-in Delay, Reverb, Chorus, and Saturator send effects alongside a master overdrive and dynamic compressor. Operating with 24-bit / 48 kHz converters, 400 MB of internal RAM sample memory, and 20 GB of +Drive storage, the Digitakt II connects directly into DAW environments via Elektron Overbridge software for low-latency multitrack USB audio and control voltage/MIDI management.
