Doepfer A-198 Trautonium Manual + Module (Set)

The Doepfer A-198 is a tactile ribbon controller system for expressive, hands-on control over your modular synth. It includes a 55cm ribbon sensor and a dedicated Eurorack module that translate finger position and pressure into control voltages and gates.

You can slide along the ribbon to generate continuous position-based CV, and apply pressure for an additional CV output. Two gate outputs are also triggered—one when the ribbon is touched and another when pressure crosses a defined threshold. These can be used to fire envelopes, start sequences, or trigger any gate-controlled event in your system.

Ideal for adding a human touch, gestural control, or Theremin-like performance gestures to your patch.
