The Doepfer A-190-7 Micro MIDI-to-CV/Gate Interface provides straightforward, reliable MIDI-to-analog conversion tailored specifically for 1U Eurorack utility rows in an 8HP footprint.

The A-190-7 brings essential monophonic MIDI conversion into the 1U format, transforming incoming MIDI note data from computers, hardware sequencers, or controllers into pitch Control Voltage (CV) and Gate signals. To streamline patching in compact setups, the module internally duplicates both the pitch and gate outputs, providing two parallel CV jacks and two parallel Gate jacks on the front panel without requiring external signal splitters (mults).

Designed for universal compatibility across TRS-MIDI standards, an onboard jumper allows users to toggle easily between MIDI-TRS Type A and Type B pinouts. For fine-tuning and microtonal setups, a rear-panel calibration trimmer enables adjustment of the 1V/Octave scaling ratio. Additionally, the A-190-7 can serve as a breakout interface for Doepfer's A-155-2 Quantizer and A-198-2 ribbon controller modules.
