The Doepfer A-183-5 is a no-nonsense passive quad attenuator—one of those utility modules you only realise you needed after your rack's full. Each of the four channels is simply a 50k potentiometer wired between two jacks, making it ideal for reducing the level of CV or audio signals in a completely passive way.
As a passive module, it requires no power and can also be used bidirectionally—perfect for flexible routing and trimming levels throughout your system.
