Doepfer A-148 Dual Sample and Hold / Track and Hold

The Doepfer A-148 is a dual sample & hold (S&H) module that provides two independent circuits for generating stepped voltages, random modulation, or slicing control voltages. Each section includes a signal input, a trigger input, and an output. While a clock or noise source isn’t included, this module is designed for flexible patching and integration into larger systems.

Each channel can operate in either sample & hold or track & hold mode — selectable via an internal jumper. LEDs on each output give clear visual feedback, showing whether the held voltage is positive or negative.

A-148 is a straightforward and reliable tool for those looking to add random voltages, gated CV control, or time-based modulation to their Eurorack system.
