The Doepfer A-142-6 1U is a compact Attack-Decay (AD) envelope generator and low-frequency oscillator designed specifically for 1U Eurorack utility rows. Occupying 10HP of panel space, it delivers flexible linear modulation within a minimal rack footprint.

In standard envelope mode (Loop switch OFF), the A-142-6 acts as an AD envelope initialized by incoming rising-edge gate or trigger signals. Manual Attack and Decay controls provide continuous time adjustment ranging from fast 2-millisecond transients up to 2-second decay tails.

Flipping the onboard loop switch to ON converts the module into a self-cycling LFO. Uniquely, introducing an external trigger pulse while operating in LFO mode superimposes a triggered AD envelope directly on top of the running LFO wave. The resulting output reaches peak voltages of up to ~+10V and features an integrated front-panel LED for visual signal monitoring.
