Doepfer A-138d Crossfader/FX insert

The Doepfer A-138d is a versatile dual-function utility module, serving both as a manual crossfader and as an FX insert interface for your Eurorack system.

In crossfader mode, you can blend between two input signals using the CF knob, with a mute switch for instantly cutting one input regardless of the crossfade position. This makes it ideal for live performance or creative signal routing.

In effect insert mode, the A-138d allows you to interface external effects—like guitar pedals—seamlessly with your modular system. Input 1 is routed to the FX Send, with attenuation to match external levels. The return signal from your effects unit is amplified and sent to Input 2, letting you blend the dry and wet signals via the crossfader.

Both the inputs and the mixed output are doubled (like mini-multiples), letting you send the same signals to additional destinations.
