The Doepfer A-138-6 brings six audio or CV channels into a compact 1U utility space, combining simple level control with versatile output routing. Every channel includes its own linear level pot and a three-position assign switch that sends the signal to Output 1, Output 2, or both outputs simultaneously. This layout allows the module to function as a single six-channel mixer, two separate three-channel mixers, or an asymmetrical split setup such as a two-channel and four-channel configuration.

Linear controls ensure predictable, linear scaling across both audio signals and modulation sources like envelopes, LFOs, and step sequencers. The dual-output routing scheme simplifies complex signal paths without requiring extra mults or patch cables. Use it to feed separate filter paths, route specific audio sources to main and secondary outputs, or manage multi-channel modulation busses within a live rig.
