The Doepfer A-135-3 is a compact yet powerful voltage-controlled stereo mixer, offering four stereo input channels with individual VCAs. Despite its slim 8HP footprint, the module packs in eight high-quality VCAs, making it an efficient solution for mixing both audio and control voltages with precision.

Each input features a manual level control, a CV input with attenuator, and dedicated left/right inputs. VCAs respond to 0–5V control voltages (attenuator fully open), and can handle signal levels up to 15Vpp without clipping. The left and right outputs provide a clean stereo mix with a built-in attenuation factor (~0.5) to prevent distortion when all channels are fully active. If needed, internal resistors can be changed to increase the output gain.

DC-coupled throughout, the A-135-3 is ideal not only for audio but also for CV processing. Whether you're summing stereo voices or blending modulation sources with dynamic control, this mixer is a flexible utility for any modular setup.
